Do you believe in guardian angels?
I believe I have one watching over me.
Things haven't been looking very well for the past one month.
& 2 weeks back, the thought of committing suicide surfaced.
I bet you heard me crying when I had that silly thought.
I thought life has really came to an end for me at that point of time.
But you reminded about what he had told me.
The story of the girl gave me the courage to live.
You gave me the strength to see the beauty of the world.
The incredible strength to pick myself up and fuel my confidence level.
I became more confident and am determined to complete whatever that is on my plate.
You taught me invaluable lessons (I failed my Mid Years), and I learnt that in order to succeed, I cannot afford to learn the word 'procrastination.'
Consistent work is important.
I am learning.
Thank you.
Thank you for giving me something undesirable because you knew that I am strong enough to overcome that.
Thank you for trusting me. You gave me the power to trust and love myself even more.
Today, You gave me a surprise.
You got the people from UOB to call me and tell me that i have won platinum award for my painting.
I won $10k.
I stayed calm throughout the whole conversation.
Was I calm or was i appalled?
I couldn't believe what I heard.
Do you know thatI actually thought that everyone will definitely get an award.
Your surprise gift totally baffled me out.
Why are you giving something when I have yet to give in my best?
I seriously didn't expect to win anything for my UOB painting.
you should have rewarded this to someone whom have put in 100% hardwork, effort and painted his/her painting with the right attitude.
To be able to get AEP scholarship, i am already very very (extremely) happy and satisfied.
(Even though I have failed my mid years, I will try my best to score for my promos and assignments :))
I promise I will use the present given by you to do something for the children... (hopefully i will be able to carry out a project at the end of this year)
If that was the reason for you to pick me, thank you. Hope that you don't think that I am stingy.
I actually feel guilty when I knew that i got the award.
